I find reading the news a exercise in depression but the first article I read today morning got me excited. Google's first employee is heading to Khan Academy, one of the most ingenious solutions for education & a reaffirmation of my faith in the fact that technology will probably play a huge role in solving many of the basic problems we are still struggling with such as hunger, education, population etc.
